So, the World has Discovered Mikey Bolts

In case you missed it, on 3 March 2015 a YouTuber, Mikey Bolts, posted this video of himself singing the song “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars in the voices of some of the most loved cartoon characters of the day.

Now, I’m not overly fond of this song in general.  Mikey Bolts makes this song entertaining though.  He is really good at hat he does.  I am not overly sure how people have never heard of him before.  He’s done so many songs.  He has even sang Frozen‘s “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” in the voices of the Family Guy characters.  Personally, I think his is better.  I was never fond of Frozen.  Ahh!  Don’t hurt me for saying that.  I just really prefer the original story to the Disney version.  Actually, that’s how it is a lot of the time.  Anyway, back to Mikey Bolts.

If you go to his YouTube Channel, you will find that he has done so many impressions of cartoon characters.  He is really funny.  He doesn’t do just the songs and cartoon character impressions.  He does stuff like this.

Why people are now discovering him is a mystery to me.  He has been posting stuff off and on for seven years.  Yep, seven years and people are just now discovering him.  He started posting on a fairly regular basis about a year back.  He also is fairly in touch with his fan-base.  He interacts with them on a regular basis and it’s one of those things that most people don’t do on YouTube.

So, kudos to you Mikey Bolts.  You’ve made the world laugh and you made me like a song that I previously didn’t like.
